Kelsey Foster is the campaign director for the Committee for a Better New Orleans, a 50 year old non-profit organization. CBNO works to bring civic engagement and open government to all New Orleanians regardless of race or class. Foster's work includes the development of the BigEasyBudgetGame.com and organizing to raise support for Participatory Budgeting. Before coming to CBNO, Foster worked as a journalist covering education in New Orleans. Foster has a bachelor’s degree in Print and Multimedia Journalism from Emerson College in Boston, Massachusetts. Foster is originally from Franklin, Pennsylvania but has lived in New Orleans for six years.
