For over 25 years, the members of IAP2 International have played a role in the development of public participation processes by proposing principles and values presented in a frame of reference. The participants in this session will be apprised of the utility of that material and will have the opportunity to familiarize themselves with a public mobilization project against racism and other forms of discrimination at the Canadian municipal level. In the second part, participants will be divided into groups to explore public participation challenges with a view to developing sustainable policies.
